Who we are

Gig-Arts was founded in 2005 and became a registered charity in 2013.

We work with aspiring artists with disabilities on selected themes, in partnership with educational establishments and centres for the disabled.

Our focus is to develop the creative skills and confidence of our participants, with a variety of creative projects. The output has outreach within their local community and online.

Many Charities are vulnerable at the moment. Our combination of creativity and innovation can help to relieve that pressure by implementing strategies that can successfully nurture and inspire volunteering in the Arts. 

Our vision is to be a leader within the Disability Arts charitable sector, creating pioneering and enterprising programmes and fundraising solutions at a time when new approaches are much needed.
