Flying start for Gig-Arts Exhibition
WODC and Witney Library
The Witney Special Gig-Arts Exhibition Tour had a terrific start. The exhibition launched for six weeks at West Oxfordshire District Council’s Main Elmfield Reception were the colourful artworks looked stunning in the spacious modern environment. Diane Verran from WODC kindly arranged the exhibition set up. And the Gig-Arts participants with special needs who made the artworks enjoyed a visit to WODC to see their creations on show.
On the 9th June, the exhibition moved on to Witney Library for ten days where it was estimated that more than five thousand visitors would have seen the exhibition. Joy Peart, the library Manager said: “It’s been lovely to have the Gig-Arts exhibition on display here in the library cabinet. The beautiful colours have really cheered everyone up! It’s just what we all need.”
