The Colour and Smell of Summer Creativity

The summer is full of colour and the bright purple lavender has been a great source of inspiration in July. Our art classes were full of flowers, fun and fragrance. Lavender has a very distinct smell and this was a very special experience for one of our class attendees, a wonderful old lady who is blind. This past month, we also enjoyed the theme of Wimbledon and our groups enjoyed making colourful collages of strawberries and cream to accompany the tennis. Everyone gained new skills with the collage creations and enjoyed working with the relaxing sweet smelling lavender - Well done!
