Maytime Merriment - Brings a Buzz of Kindness!

As we launch into May, the Gig-Arts Painting Online with Purpose (POP) sessions are running on Tuesdays on Zoom! These are ‘free events’ from our charity. So, if you like art and you’re interested in learning new art skills, this is an ideal way to meet creative people with additional needs in an inclusive heart-warming atmosphere.

Building on the two year success of these POP sessions, Gig-Arts is opening up opportunities to take part in Green GigArts events which embrace sustainability - and so this month we’re launching the Kindness Bee Club! And there’s a buzz in the air already! Take a look below at the photos of a pre-event taster and get ready for the Kindness Bee Club launch on “World Bee Day” on Friday 20th May!

May Blossom - The paintings created are all inspired by nature to nurture well-being.

“A-Bee” dressed in branded bumble bee attire welcomes the Kindness Bee Club! Arty meetings are on the first Wednesday of the month at cafes/venues …and weekly online on Zoom for half an hour mid-morning!

There’s buzz about creating bee artworks…which are for sale! Each week participants can either draw and crayon or colour with paint. You’ll see bees with trees and flowers and seas!

At the Kindness Bee Club we embrace acts of kindness… all participants ‘give’ a little finger print picture to a neighbour or friend or community champion…to brighten their day in a kind way!

The Kindness Bee Club also has a fluffy toy mascot - which quickly inspired this painting - It’s absolutely buzzing and is bound to look brilliant in the charity’s online and live exhibition-sales!
