What a June-July Jubilation!

We’re in the swing of summertime! The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Celebration brought a royal wave of crown-themed artworks into focus for Gig-Arts!

Gig-Arts CEO has been visiting local college and university exhibitions and conferences to re-connect after Covid. It was exciting to see the students mixing again in crowded rooms and multiple Gig-Arts events are now on the horizon.

Meanwhile, summer schoolgirl volunteer Alice Caladine created two beautiful stage set sculptures for Gig-Arts. Tasked with an eco theme, her results were impressive and the sculptures were showcased during the July Kindness Bee online painting session.

Finally, the Gig-Arts Board of trustees meeting was held online. Positive steps forward were made regarding event planning, regular giving scheme and website design updates. Enormous thanks go to the trustees for their continuing support and contribution.

Looking ahead, following group art themes of bees, camping, caring and flowers, the painting online with purpose zoom sessions will continue throughout July and partially into August.
